This past Thursday Brennan and I loaded up and headed for Berea, Kentucky to visit Berea College. The trip got off to a rough start when I learned, less than 24 hours before we left, I was in need of two new tires. After having several more people look at them, it was determined that we could probably rotate the tires and survive the trip. Although the man who rotated them, a stranger no less, said he would pray we would make it there and back safely. We did. Berea College is WONDERFUL. After spending the day there, I determined that I want to be 18 and a college student there. Brennan loved it also. There are approximately 2000 applicants each year and approximately 400 openings. You can do the math...the odds aren't great, but if God wants Brennan at Berea College, he will be there. Unfortunately, I don't have more pix. I didn't want to embarrass Brennan by making him pose in front of signs saying "Welcome to Berea College." I tried to keep my photojournalism under the radar.
"The time has come," the Walrus said, "To talk of many things: Of shoes—and ships—and sealing-wax— And cabbages—and kings— And why the sea is boiling hot— And whether pigs have wings." Lewis Carroll
