December 21st, 2007 marked the 50th wedding anniversary of Mark's parents, Ted and Grechen Fogas. In today's world, that is a HUGE accomplishment. Those 50 years included the births of five children, who then gave birth to 13 Fogas grandchildren (cumulatively), and all of which birthed countless shared family memories. We had a big party at Chris and Heather's house (Chris is the oldest grandchild). All five of the Fogas children were there along with their spouses and children, which made for a total of lots of extended family. The youngest grandbaby is only 9 weeks, and the oldest is "30 something." We have grandchildren spanning 3 DECADES!!! Other family and friends joined in the celebration, and, in the end, all were blessed by Ted and Gretchen's commitment to one another through the good times and the bad.....they made it 50 years!!!!!!
