Maggie has come so far in so many ways, not the least of which is overcoming her fear of water. When we first introduced her to the water, she clung to us with a vice-like grip. Last summer she graduated to floating on her own in a little intertube, and this year....she is taking swim lessons. One of Maggie's friends in playgroup has 2 big sisters who give swim lessons. This is a perfect option. Maggie loves teenage girls, she is already familiar with Kelly, and she is receiving one-on-one instruction. Maggie was not even slightly interested in being part of a class swim lesson. Kelly is AWESOME!!! She has homeschooled since she was a little girl, and if you met her and her sister, you would want to jump on the homeschool bandwagon hoping that your kids would be as wonderful as these two. Anyway, Maggie isn't swimming yet, but she is one step closer.
