Happy Chinese New Year. Today we are celebrating Chinese New year with our Families with Chinese Children Playgroup. This is one of our biggest events. The girls make Chinese crafts, eat Chinese Food, play, have a storytime, and end the day with "Fireworks" which , in reality, consists of the girls all jumping on a large rolled out section of bubble wrap. Maggie has really been into Chinese New Year this year and is starting to remember some of the customs that go along with the celebration. It is so fun watching her grow and watching her interest in China start to blossom.
In all, we had 35 children in attendance.

Maggie looks adorable! and I like her long locks!( She is still a peanut! )I enjoyed all the pics and look forward to keeping up with you guys via blog-world---- Lori and her husband just did all there travel to China via blog and it was so nice to see there new little Hollie -they just returned Sat. -maybe your pals were there too! They waited for this second daughter almost 20 months. She is a doll and jolly. 10 mo.old. I will let you know the providence when I retrieve it. Hope everyone there is fine as they bustle around!
