Happy Chinese New Year. Today we are celebrating Chinese New year with our Families with Chinese Children Playgroup. This is one of our biggest events. The girls make Chinese crafts, eat Chinese Food, play, have a storytime, and end the day with "Fireworks" which , in reality, consists of the girls all jumping on a large rolled out section of bubble wrap. Maggie has really been into Chinese New Year this year and is starting to remember some of the customs that go along with the celebration. It is so fun watching her grow and watching her interest in China start to blossom.

In all, we had 35 children in attendance.
